Pastor John who is a house parent at House of Hope! He is also pastor at Second Baptist Church in Dej. House of Hope was the idea of a missionary from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After visiting Romania years ago he wanted to
open a home for girls that were to old to be in the orphanges any more. After the 8th grade they have to leave. House of Hope gives girls the opportunity to stay in school until they graduate. They have to follow the house rules and attend church. The House has 6 girls now and 2 years ago 5 of the girls were baptized.
