Our Romanian mission team recently received word that one of our translators has lost her mom. Alexandra’s mother recently passed away. We would like to extend our prayers and condolences for her and her family. We love you Alexandra, and we are praying for you!!!!
We hope you find comfort in the following verses.
Psalm 34:17-18
“The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them. He delivers them from their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Special Thanks to Regina Boyter
I would like to take a page in the blog to thank Regina Boyter for ALL she did to get our blog up and running. On the trip she spent countless hours in the wee hours of the night working to add stories and pics to our blog. I know this was such a tremendous blessing to my family and so many others to be able to see and read about what we were doing. As I help to add pictures to the blog now, I realize just how many pics she took, and how few of them she was actually in!!! We will make sure that doesn't happen again next year!!!
Regina did so much during that week. She helped organize the feeding of hundreds of villagers. She took countless pictures. She posted new blogs when everyone else was sleeping...except our pranksters Tanner and JC of course. She was a nurse to some of our own members. She was always available to do anything that someone needed her to do. She was a joy to be around!!! Her smiles and great attitude radiated out to all those who were around her.
Regina, don't shoot me for adding this info about you. I just wanted to make sure that all who enjoy the blog know who took the time and energy to start and maintain it. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. I'm so glad you went on the trip, and I can't wait until next year!!!
Forever friends!
Love, Amy
Receiving Bibles
One of the most awesome things we did during our trip was to be able to give the Romanians bibles in their native tongue. We had complete bibles, New Testaments, and children's bibles. At each event that these were passed out, they were all gone within minutes. People of all ages were so happy to receive their own copy of God's word. The following are pictures of people right after they received their new bibles.

MISS EVERYBODY
I saw Ken and Amy at church this morning and it just made me miss everybody that much more! It's hard to spend that much time together and bond as christian brothers and sisters and then come back and have to be apart. I hope we get to see each other soon. I have finished a blog entry for each member and am going to start on an entry for each translator. How I miss them! Please feel free to add to the blog at anytime! Love Ya, Reggie
Also, thank for the blog comments! I'm glad your still enjoying it!

JERRY SPEARMAN
Jerry with his son JC and Jerry leading us as a group in prayer before our first festival. To his right is the priest from the village. Please pray the God will work in his heart.
Jerry, what an inspirational leader! Truly an evangelist at heart and a man after God's own heart. He lead by example and gave us the freedom to chart our own course during our trip. What a blessing to be taken to Romania and then being told go out and do what we were called to do!

A large part of our festival was fun & games with both the children and the adults alike. How much fun they had playing king & queen of Romania with shaving cream crowns!
Right - This young girl had won a major award in her village but the school didn't have anything to give her. It is unusual for village children to do well in school. To help us gain access to this village and to do something to honor this girl we were able to give her a $200 scholarship to help continue her education.

JC SPEARMAN
JC & Zack in Budapest. They make a great team!
JC was called to lead the soccer games wherever we went. Of course the kids didn't care how good you were just that you would play with them. Below, JC and the kids (we called all the teenagers kids, a term of endearment) practicing guitar and singing. It was such a joy to stand around and praise God while they were practicing!
BILL WHITE
KEN aka Ken Mountain of JOY
Anybody that knows Ken could figure out how he got the name Ken Mountain of Joy from the kids in Romania. He was the leader of the pack! No matter where he went he was the main attraction; in his words only so he could tell them about his JESUS!
He was the lead singer and the leader of the praise band. They sang at the orphanages, the villages we went to, at every church we went to and they were invited to sing at a local public school for their end of the year program! What a great job they did!
